A spectacular and authentic Victorian era (circa 1890) yellow gold ruby and diamond halo ring. The Round Mixed Cut center ruby is a stunning pinkish-red hue and is gauged at approximately 0.55 carat. Further decorated with a halo of eight Old Mine Cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.40 carats, graded G-I color and SI-I1 clarity. The antique ring is finished with a unique 10k gold triple split shank that was likely added to the 14k yellow gold top in the early 20th century and has a lovely antique patina that only comes with age!
