The cocktail ring was at the height of its popularity in the 1940's and 1950's. Drinks were being mixed and many big rings made appearances at the cocktail parties that were all the rage at the time. Fashion saw a trend in padded shoulders and bold colors and this bold and beautiful ring fully represents this era, with its bold shapes and colors. The angular sides set with calibre cut sapphires are a perfect balance to the more feminine sloping design that holds the featured stone. The oval faceted sapphire has been certified by AGL as natural with no heat treatment. There are six French cut sapphires that weigh approximately 1.5 carats total, and 16 old European cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.80 carats total. The diamonds have been graded as F-G color, VS clarity. Crafted in 14 karat white gold. Ring size 10 and can be sized complimentary if needed.
